The campus community is invited to observe a Twitter reenactment of the Great Green Bay Fire of 1880. The event — hosted by Assistant Prof. Jon Shelton (Democracy and Justice Studies) and his History 290 students — will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Wood Hall 216. It will be followed by a public talk from firefighter and author David Siegel at 2:15 p.m. in the Christie Theatre. Or watch history unfold on Twitter with #GBFire1880.
