New feature story, reminders on homeless veteran collection drive

We told you here recently about a UW-Green Bay project that’s gathering donations, both physical and financial, for homeless veterans in our area. As a reminder, “Operation Ready, Aim, Comfort” is ongoing, collecting hygiene items, clothing, easy-to-carry foodstuffs and more (see our previous post for a complete list). Organizers also are accepting monetary donations — simply drop off a check made out to “Operation Ready, Aim, Comfort” to Elaina Koltz in the Financial Aid office, and it will be deposited into a dedicated Community First Credit Union account.

Want to know more about the man behind the project? Check out our new feature story on UW-Green Bay grad student and veteran Michael Crum, who started “Ready, Aim, Comfort” to give back to those in need. Full story.
