For throngs of Phillips fans, artist is worth the wait

A full and exuberant house greeted 2011 “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips Monday (Nov. 18) at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.

Phillips, who initially was scheduled to play in May but had to cancel due to illness, greeted an excited sell-out crowd for his evening show. UW-Green Bay’s Good Times Programming organization brought the “Idol” winner to campus, teaming with the Weidner Center to present a show audiences said was worth waiting for.
