United Way reaches campus goals in donors, dollars

The Brown County United Way campaign at UW-Green Bay has reached its final reporting date. Even with pledges still trickling in, the drive has already surpassed its goal, with $7,854 collected or committed. The breakdown:

• 62 Employees contributing $7,230

• 61 Students/Customers contributing $124.00 through the paper t-shirt sales, Plinko, or direct contributions to gain entry into the drawing for the Chevy Cruze
• One corporate donation from A’viands Food and Services Management for $500.

Comments Rick Warpinski, the University Union director and chairman of the campus drive, “I am personally pleased with the results and the opportunity to chair UW-Green Bay’s support for our local communities through the Brown County United Way campaign.
