‘Safety’ pins encouraged to promote communitywide respectfulness

The University Committee (UC) invites members of the campus community to wear a safety pin over the coming weeks as a sign of their commitment to supporting a safe, diverse campus community and respectful public discourse. Please note that the pins are not partisan political symbols. Rather, in the wake of a divisive election, they assert that we value every member of our diverse community.
