UW-Green Bay men’s soccer player J.C. Banks has been named player of the year and offensive player of the year. Banks, a junior from Milwaukee, is the first Phoenix men’s soccer player to earn both honors. He leads the league in goals (13), points (34) and is tied for first in assists. The Phoenix plays at 11 a.m. Friday (Nov. 13) in Indianapolis against Valparaiso in a semifinal match of the league tournament, which sends its winner to the NCAA Tournament.
