Do you ever feel like PowerPoint is just a little… square? Overly familiar? Don’t get them wrong, it’s a great product, but the Learning Technology Center is introducing a new web-based tool, called Prezi, available free to anyone with a uwgb.edu account. Prezi presentations can incorporate pans, zooms, swirls, and swoops throughout your content in non-linear fashion. The LTC is hosting an informational demonstration from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, in the LTC lab, IS 1004. There will be a demo, a tutorial on how to set up an account and get started, and advice from faculty and staff already using the application. No RSVP necessary. If you’d like, you can get started now, learn more, and see examples at prezi.com.
