Award-winning author Luisa Etxenike will head for her home in the Basque region of Spain Friday (Nov. 1), having completed her two-month tenure as the Spanish program’s scholar in residence. Before her departure Thursday (Oct. 31), Etxenike signed and donated two novels for the Cofrin Library’s collection, presenting them to Library Director Paula Ganyard as a way to commemorate her time at UW-Green Bay. Etxenike team-taught two courses and engaged in numerous community activities while at the University. For more about her and a photo gallery from Thursday’s presentation, check out our news post.
