Bittersweet Winds exhibit is Nov. 1-2

The Intertribal Student Council is once again bringing the nationally touring exhibit, “Bittersweet Winds” to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus. The exhibit will be on display from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, November 1-2, in the 1965 Room in the University Union. Bittersweet Winds challenges the depiction of Native Americans in mass media and popular culture by presenting both historic and present-day examples of outright stereotyping displayed alongside more accurate portrayals of Native American people and culture. Admission is free and open to the public.
