Passing of Cliff Wall, early Founders Association president

He was a longtime supporter of the University and the fifth president (1983-84) of the UW-Green Bay Founders Association. Clifford Wall Jr. died Monday at age 92. Born in Goodman, he moved with his family to Green Bay in 1929 when his father started Cliff Wall Motor Sales. He attended East High School, graduated from the UW with a degree in philosophy and served in the Army Air Force from 1942 until 1945. He later earned a law degree, and took over the family dealership in 1972 after the death of his father. An obituary is online.

Services Friday; memorials include UW-Green Bay — Visitation for Cliff Wall Jr. will take place at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 991 Pilgrim Way, Ashwaubenon, this Friday (Oct. 18) from 2 p.m. until the Celebration of Life at 6 p.m.  “In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated in Clifford’s name to the Greater Green Bay YMCA, Pilgrim Congregational or the UWGB Founders Association.”
