The Green Bay men’s basketball team is predicted to finish sixth in the Horizon League, according to a coaches/media/staff ballot announced Wednesday at the annual media day. Jack-of-all-trades forward Jordan Fouse, a senior from Racine, was voted to the preseason first team. Coming off back-to-back 20-win seasons, the Phoenix will deal with the loss of senior starters and contributors from last year. Coach Linc Darner, who is a year removed from leading Florida Southern to a 36-1 record, a No. 1 overall ranking and the 2015 NCAA Division II National Championship last season, leads his new team into exhibition play with a Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31, game with UW-Stout at the Resch Center.
