In case you missed it, there was a semi-serious traffic accident at about 11:45 a.m. Friday (Oct. 9) at the Bay Settlement Entrance to campus. Green Bay Police and UW-Green Bay Public Safety had to close uphill traffic on Leon Bond Drive for about 40 minutes because of a collision at the Bay Settlement Road intersection. A vehicle traveling in the northbound lanes of Bay Settlement was making a lefthand turn onto campus when it collided with a southbound vehicle. The two drivers — neither was believed to be a UW-Green Bay staff member or student — suffered minor injuries, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
