Here’s a quick and friendly reminder that the Lawton Gallery will host an opening reception for its next exhibit from 4:30-6:30 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) at the gallery in Theatre Hall. “Figuring It Out: David Lenz, Gina Litherland, Nancy Mladenoff, Charles Munch and Fred Stonehouse” features the work of five Wisconsin artists who use the figure in a variety of different ways. Munch and Stonehouse will speak briefly during the reception; and prior to the event, Stonehouse will give a lecture about his work from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Studio Arts 350. “Figuring It Out” runs tomorrow through Thursday, Oct. 30. As always, the Lawton Gallery and its event are free and open to the public. Read more.
