Co-director sought for Wisconsin Teaching Fellows and Scholars program

The UW System Office of Professional and Instructional Development (OPID) has put out a call for a co-director for its signature Wisconsin Teaching Fellows & Scholars program. The two-year term is April 2018 through June 2020. The selected person will co-direct the program with UW-Green Bay’s David Voelker (Humanities, History) for the first year, and then collaborate with a new co-director (to be selected in late 2018) during the 2019-20 year. After two years, reappointments may be made on a yearly basis for a total of five years.

Criteria:
Full-time faculty or instructional academic staff at a UW campus with a Ph.D. or Ed.D.;  successful completion of the WTFS Program or comparable training in the scholarship of teaching and learning; demonstrated leadership, organizational and teaching and learning skills; excellent oral, written, intercultural and interpersonal communication skills.
Compensation:
$9,000 / year, mileage, lodging and meals & incidentals for meetings
