Exercise is Medicine – On Campus launches at UW-Green Bay

UW-Green Bay is one of the newest members of the global initiative Exercise is Medicine – On Campus (EiM-OC) which is a part of the American College of Sports Medicine. Joanna Morrissey (Psychology), Jared Dahlberg (Biology), Alex Wandersee (UREC), Theresa Wiese (Counseling Services) & Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology graduate students are leading the initiative in bringing EiM-OC to the UW-Green Bay campuses to promote a campus culture of physical activity to improve the health and well-being of students, staff, and faculty.

Each semester, EiM-OC will provide faculty, staff, and students with physical activity related events, programs and information to rise beyond the ordinary by moving often, moving well, and moving together toward a healthy life and community. EiM-OC also aims to incorporate physical activity as a vital sign of health for all those seeking services through the Wellness Center. You can learn more about EiM-OC on the EiM-OC webpage and Instagram page: @uwgb_eim.
