The UW-Green Bay campus quietly and reverently marked the 10th anniversary of 9/11 Sunday, honoring lives lost with ribbons, American flags and a special musical selection. Student Life provided the flags and ribbons, which students placed near the Weidner Memorial Carillon outside the University Union. The carillon itself played patriotic and other hymns at the precise minute each plane crashed 10 years ago, and then remained silent for the rest of the day. Local media outlets included UW-Green Bay’s remembrance in their 9/11 anniversary coverage.
