Faculty, staff and UW-Green Bay family members have been given one free entry into the Door County Treasure Hunt, Sept. 30 (a $275 value). Treasure hunters search for new wonders in Northern Door in a day filled with exploration. At the end of the day, join other treasure hunters at Sawyer Farms in Egg Harbor for an evening of food, drink, music, prizes and a photo display of the day. Teams of up to five people are accepted. UW-Green Bay faculty and staff members can send an e-mail with “D.C. Treasure Hunt” in the subject line to Vicki Medland, Associate Director, Cofrin Center for Biodiversity, no later than Sept. 18, if interested in forming a team. She will pick the UW-Green Bay team by random drawing on Sept. 19. All proceeds benefit Write On, Door County programs — inspiring writing and reading.
