Regents OK organizational changes at September meeting
The UW System Board of Regents on Thursday (Sept. 8) unanimously approved a series of broad organizational changes for the System, giving chancellors new leadership roles and granting campuses additional flexibilities. Under the plan, the System’s 14 chancellors will have more control over areas such as budgeting, financial management and other operational decisions. The Regents also OK’d a resolution on plans to comply with a state-mandated $2.5 million cut in System administration’s operating costs.
