Teaching Scholars: Dalke, Davis, Emmons, Higgins, Rinfret, Rybak

Six UW-Green Bay faculty members have been selected to serve as UW-Green Bay Teaching Scholars for the 2010-11 academic year. They are:
• Karen Dalke, Interdisciplinary Studies
• Greg Davis, Natural and Applied Sciences
• Carol Emmons, Arts and Visual Design
• Doreen Higgins, Social Work
• Sara Rinfret, Public and Environmental Affairs
• Chuck Rybak, Humanistic Studies

Profs. Aeron Haynie and Regan A.R. Gurung, co-directors of the Teaching Scholars Program, said the six were selected from a large pool of very talented applicants based on their passion, commitment and excellence in teaching. The Scholars will meet throughout this year and work on Scholarship of Teaching and Learning initiatives. The results of the projects will be presented to the campus community during the fall semester 2011. Last year’s Teaching Scholars will present their projects to campus early this semester (more information to come). You can read more on the program here.
