Comm grad wins prestigious graduate school award

Congratulations to Elizabeth Hintz ’15, (Communication), a graduate student at the University of South Florida. She is the recipient of the Donald P. Cushman Memorial (Scholarship) Award, given by 20-19 TGTCenter_RoveAxelrodEvent the National Communication Association (NCA), for an essay she co-wrote, “Childfree and ‘Bingoed’: Competing Discourses of Reproductive Normativity and Autonomy Animated in Online Narratives of Conversations about Voluntary Childlessness,” submitted to the Family Communication Division.
