Rum! Essay sheds light on student’s summer internship experience

Thanks to Associate Provost for Academic Affairs Andy Kersten for passing along a cool blog post written by a UW-Green Bay student intern. History student Kayla Filen is an intern with Appleton’s History Museum at the Castle, which focuses on Fox Valley history of interest and relevance to local audiences. Filen’s essay explores the temperance movement and its effects in Northeastern Wisconsin, under the eye-grabbing headline “Wisconsin will not sell rum!” An interesting piece — check it out here.
