Ahoy, there! Nautical flags take up residence along campus bayshore

A flag display that reflects the passion of one of UW-Green Bay’s most generous alumni can now be viewed at Lambeau Cottage on the campus bayshore. Installed just recently, the nautical flags are gifts to the University reflecting the late Craig Mueller’s lifelong love of sailing and his sponsorship of the remodeling of the property once owned by Green Bay Packers’ founder Curly Lambeau. Following his death in 2007, Mueller’s estate directed $1 million to create a scholarship endowment for students in the Arts and Visual Design and Communication academic units. The new display includes the UW-Green Bay and state of Wisconsin flags, and smaller pennants with international code signifying U, W, G and B. For a photo gallery and more, click here.
