Transcript: Downtown is about 5 miles from UW-Green Bay. All you need to get there is a bus, a friend’s car or your own car. One of my favorite things about downtown is there’s so much stuff to do. There’s a farmers’ market. There’s lots of restaurants to hit. I absolutely love the downtown Green Bay Area. My friends and I, we go to Lion’s Mouth Bookstore, the coffee shops and then we can even catch live music during the summer at the City Deck. During the summer, my friends and I like to go rollerblading along the Fox River Trail. We usually start in Green Bay’s City Deck area and then we kind of make our way all the way down to De Pere. Also, we really enjoy going to the Wednesday and Saturday Farmers Markets that they have as well. My favorite thing to do is going to see the live bands that they have. They have very fun bands and it’s always a very good fun time. One of my favorite things to do is go to Bay Beach whether it’s the Wildlife Sanctuary or it’s the Amusement Park. It’s super close to campus and it’s a lot of fun for really cheap and it’s perfect for college students. I really love going to Baird Creek Park. It’s really close to campus and where I live and it’s got a bunch of great trails and it’s got some nice biking trails that I like to do as well. I also really like going to Noble Roots here. It’s pretty close. It’s a nice spot for us grad students to go to maybe do a little work while we’re having a little beverage or just unwind after a hard week of being a graduate student. Going to Packer games is unlike any other experience that you’ll have. The energy is so high. Packer fans are so committed. It’s so fun to be there. Personally, I like to go over to the Titletown District by Lambeau Field. A bunch of cool things to do in the winter, you can go ice skating and tubing. Uh and just learn a little bit more about what Green Bay is and what makes Green Bay, Green Bay.
