Interrogate the Idea of Imposter Syndrome at August’s Rising Together: Caffeinated Conversation

Caffeinated Conversation
August conversation interrogates the idea of imposter syndrome.

The Institute for Women’s Leadership will host a conversation on Wednesday, August 17, from 7:30-9 a.m. at Jenn’s Java in Manitowoc, interrogating the idea of imposter syndrome. Do you feel what you have earned and achieved is a fraud? If so, you are not alone. In fact, up to 82% of people experience feelings of imposter syndrome. Even Einstein once said that he thought his research received much more attention than he thought it deserved! Research shows that professional women are particularly vulnerable to this syndrome. Connect with us as we discuss how to overcome imposter syndrome and be proud of the work and results you have achieved  in your career. The conversation is moderated by Jess Lambrecht, Executive Officer, Division of Continuing Education and Community Engagement.
