Did you get the storm warning messages? If not, sign-up for GB Alert

The severe weather over the weekend is a good reminder for members of the University community to ensure they are signed up for GB Alert. Users subscribed to Green Bay or Manitowoc campus alerts would have received Tornado Warning messages. If you did not receive these alerts and are members of these campus communities, you may want to sign up/edit your account.

As of July 1, 2019, the branch campuses (Manitowoc, Marinette and Sheboygan) no longer utilize Rave to send emergency notifications (including cancelled classes, drill information and safety communication during credible, on-going threats). If you had been a Rave subscriber and have not signed up for GB Alert, you will need to do so. This does not occur automatically.

Marinette, Manitowoc and Sheboygan Campus staff, faculty and students, follow sign-up instructions. You will sign in with your UW-Green Bay single sign-on credentials. You must indicate at least one list.

Green Bay campus staff, faculty and students may edit or view their GB Alert account by logging in.

See GB Alert FAQ. You may direct further questions to PublicSafety@uwgb.edu or call 920-465-2300 ext. 2.
