Green Bay campus reminder: Utility outage Monday, July 22, 6 a.m.

On Monday,  July 22, 2019 at 6 a.m. on the Green Bay campus, all academic buildings, path lights, and street lights will lose power for approximately 15 to 30 minutes while Wisconsin Public Service and UW-Green Bay staff changes the primary electrical service cabling at the University substation. All general electrical receptacles and lighting will lose power during this time. It is recommended that electronics be powered off prior to this outage. Electrical items that are connected to an emergency power system will maintain power once the generator starts and the transfer switch is activated. Residence Life buildings and Shorewood Golf Course will not be affected. Point of Sale devices may be affected, but please verify with Information Technology.
