Red-hot “Romeo”: Sutton’s play sells out three of four shows … so far
The wait is almost over for campus and community members who have tickets to “Searching for Romeo,” the original musical from UW-Green Bay Prof. Brian Sutton. Tomorrow’s (Thursday, July 12) premiere is completely sold out, as are evening shows Friday (July 13) and Saturday (July 14). As of this writing, there are still some tickets available for the recently added Saturday matinee — but if sales to date are any indication, interested parties better act fast. Check out a dress rehearsal photo gallery, and find more information on the show.
Friday ticket holders will celebrate with Sutton post-show
Consider yourself lucky if you’re holding a ticket for Friday’s showing of “Searching for Romeo,” which includes a special “Post-Show Meet and Greet” with director and cast. Coordinated by University Advancement, the event will shed light on how this one-of-a-kind performance is a model collaboration among students, faculty, area high school students and the community. Refreshments will be served for the event, held immediately after the show in the Weidner Center’s Studio One. Full details.
