Wojta to suit up for WNBA team

Former UW-Green Bay accounting student and basketball player Julie Wojta is expected to be in uniform today (Tuesday, July 10) for the defending WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx when the team visits Tulsa for a mid-day (11:30 a.m.) tipoff. A ‘DNP’: After scrambling to join the team in time for Tuesday’s road game in Tulsa, Julie Wojta was listed as a “DNP” — that’s “Did Not Play” — in the box score from a 107-84 Lynx victory. Next up is a Thursday rematch with the Shock, followed by a one-month break in the WNBA season to allow the league’s stars to prepare for representing the United States at the London Olympics.
