Student-athletes earn record-high GPA

UW-Green Bay student athletes achieved the highest-ever combined grade point average during any semester in spring 2017, recording a department-wide GPA of 3.39. The spring semester also marks the 35th-consecutive semester above a 3.0 GPA since the streak began back in spring 2000. “I am extremely proud of our student-athletes,” said academic coordinator Mike Kline. “This record was made possible by an awesome team that includes our student-athletes, coaches, tutors, mentors, faculty, staff and administration. We have an outstanding team that is humble, passionate, and committed to academic excellence in Phoenix country.”
