IUPUI joins Horizon League

The Horizon League Board of Directors has unanimously approved the application for membership from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis to join the Horizon League. IUPUI officially will join the league July 1, 2017, and begin competition during the 2017-18 academic year. “UW-Green Bay is delighted to welcome IUPUI to the Horizon League,” said Chancellor Gary L. Miller. “IUPUI is widely recognized for its superb academic programs. Its commitment to Division I athletics and to the values and strategy of the Horizon League are very strong.  Its location in Indianapolis, one of the most important sports centers in the country, will be a great asset to the League. I want to particularly extend my welcome to Chancellor Nasser Paydar and his leadership team. We look forward to spirited competition and collaboration to advance higher education.”
