Photos: Campus apartment building fire, June 2009
UW-Green Bay Police and the Green Bay Fire Department were called to the scene of an early morning fire in an apartment building of the Residence Life complex on Thursday, June 25, 2009. A passerby called in the blaze at 5:13 a.m. The building was unoccupied and there were no injuries reported. There was significant damage to the structure, an original two-story apartment building located at the far end of the housing complex. The building had 17 units and could house 63 students. The cause was undetermined, but the fire could possibly have been started by an electrical problem. Arson has been ruled out.
