UW-Green Bay student Sam Hunt is gaining attention at local and international business idea competitions. His idea, The Local Food Experiment, won the Wisconsin Big Idea Tournament (WBIT), which earned him $2,000 and a trip to the International Business Model Competition May 10 through 11 in Provo, Utah. Hunt was a semifinalist, earning him $3,000. Hunt’s other business idea, PrecisionLAG, has also placed successfully in local competitions. He was recognized in UW System’s News June issue.
