The Appleton Police Department presented a Civilian Community Service Award to UW-Green Bay Institutional Research Analyst, Kinga Jacobson, Ed.D. and James Begotka. Begotka and Jacobson worked with the agency to develop, deliver and measure the results of the 2017 community survey to measure policing needs. The award was “presented to a civilian for assistance in aiding the Police Department in the accomplishment of its mission.” The event was Thursday, May 17 at the Radisson Paper Valley Ballroom.
