Prof. Sarah Meredith (Music), Dean Susan Gallagher-Lepak (College of Health, Education and Social Welfare) and harp therapist Tammy Naze presented “The Healing Power of Music” to an audience of 100 caregivers at the Ashwaubenon Community Center on May 4, 2018. Their presentation was part of a Caregiver Retreat sponsored by the Brown County Caregiver Coalition and Brown County Aging and Disability Resource Center. In Wisconsin, approximately 549,000 caregivers provide 588 million hours of care each year. A caregiver is anyone who provides unpaid care to a relative or friend.
