The University issued a statement Wednesday morning confirming that attorney Joseph Nicks, the independent investigator looking into allegations made by former players and their families against head men’s basketball coach Brian Wardle, has delivered his final report to Chancellor Tom Harden. Under provisions of the state open records law, Wardle would have up to 10 days to review his copy of the report and challenge whether all or part of the document should be released. The Chancellor said the University will have no further comment until the report is made public. The statement is online.
