Chancellor Alexander to be a guest performer with Weidner Philharmonic, May 23

The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce that UW-Green Bay Chancellor Michael Alexander will be a special guest performer with the Weidner Philharmonic’s performance of Walton’s Façade: An Entertainment Live at the Green Bay Botanical Garden on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 3 p.m.

Façade is an essential tongue in cheek classic featuring an exciting series of poems by Edith Sitwell, with instrumentals composed by William Walton.

Chancellor Alexander previously performed with the Weidner Philharmonic conducting Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man at the symphony orchestra’s very first concert in September 2019.
