Remembering Phoenix Hall of Famer Terry Schott

The Green Bay Press-Gazette’s Rob Demovsky published a poignant column in Wednesday’s edition concerning Terry Schott. The Green Bay West basketball player was one of the first student athletes signed by Coach Dave Buss to play basketball for the new UW-Green Bay in 1969. Schott played well enough to lead his team to the NAIA tournament in 1973, and to earn a spot in the Phoenix Hall of Fame. The column said Schott, 60, was battling terminal cancer.
