UW-Green Bay piano faculty members Michael Rector and Sylvia Hong will present an informal recital featuring some classic hits of the piano duo repertoire: Brahms’s Hungarian Dances, Ravel’s La valse, Debussy’s Petite Suite and Percy Grainger’s Fantasy on Themes from Porgy and Bess (Gershwin) on May 12, 2022 from Noon to 1:30 p.m. in Fort Howard Hall of the Weidner Center. This will be Michael and Sylvia’s first performance since winning the Ellis Duo Piano Award last year. Please come for all or part of this lunchtime concert, and don’t be shy about entering the hall between pieces!
