The Northeast Wisconsin local section of the American Chemical Society held its annual awards banquet on Thursday May 3, 2018 at Lawrence University in Appleton. Graduating senior Gillian Evanoff (Chemistry, Education minor) received UW-Green Bay’s Outstanding Chemistry Senior Award, which was presented by Associate Prof. and Chair, Michael McIntire. UW-Green Bay Assistant Prof. Mandeep Bakshi (Chemistry) presented the guest lecture on his research in the area of nanotechnology. Chemistry Prof. and CSET Associate Dean Michael Zorn currently serves as the local section chair.
