The Professional Program in Nursing had a role in the development of a new tool kit, Preventing the Spread of Infection in Faith Communities toolkit, now being touted on the Center for Disease Research & Policy (CIDRAP) website as a new promising practice. The kit was developed with input from parish nurses, public health nurses, emergency preparedness coordinators from Northeast Wisconsin, and UW-Green Bay faculty members. Prof. Janet Reilly says the toolkit is available to download from the site, in its entirety, click here.
