Announced last week at Regents’ meetings held on the UWGB campus, UW System Board of Regents President Regina Millner called for the creation of a UW System task force to evaluate the overall college experience of UW students — with a particular focus on underrepresented minority students. “The goal is to not only to collect and examine perspectives and real life experiences but to also examine and, where necessary, recommend areas where our action can help improve the experience of all students,” Millner said. During the April 8 meeting, the Regents welcomed a panel of five students from UW System campuses throughout the state and hosted a listening luncheon with students from each of the System’s four-year institutions. Two students represented the 13 UW Colleges. Read more about the taskforce.
