Eileen Littig is co-producer on NOVA film that captures hopes and fears about Alzheimer’s, April 6 on PBS

Eileen Littig, who worked as a producer on the Green Bay Campus for Northeastern Wisconsin in-School Telecommunications (NEWIST) though 2019, is behind the new film, Determined: Fighting Alzheimer’s, which will air on PBS on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 8 p.m. Littig is the co-producer.

According to the press release, “Alzheimer’s takes the lives of more than 120,000 Americans every year. The documentary, which was produced over 10 years, tracks three women in the Wisconsin study who all had mothers with Alzheimer’s and witnessed firsthand the devastation wrought by the disease, not only on the mind and body, but on patients’ families. The study monitors the health and memory of thousands of people in an effort to discover lifestyle changes and medicines that could delay or prevent the disease.”
