Two of the nominees for the 2012 Dreamers and Doers Award have strong connections to UW-Green Bay. Judy Crain is currently a member of the UW Board of Regents and previously served as a trustee on the UW-Green Bay Chancellor’s Council of Trustees; Betsy Hendrickson (’79 Masters Environmental Arts and Sciences) also served on the Council of Trustees. She and her husband created a professorship in Business and have financially supported many projects on campus, including the Weidner and Kress centers. Crain, Hendrickson and five other nominees — Joanne Angeli, Jenny Geiken Gail McNutt, Elaine Willman and Monica Zindler – will be recognized for their contributions to Brown County’s Development at the annual Dreamers and Doers Award Luncheon Saturday afternoon, March 31 at Heritage Hill State Park, when the award winner will be announced.
