UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance performs ‘Silent Sky’ by America’s most produced living playwright Lauren Gunderson, from Wednesday, April 25 to April 28, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Gunderson’s play reflects the true story of an early-1900’s astronomer Henrietta Leavitt (from Wisconsin) during a time of immense scientific discoveries when women’s ideas were dismissed until men claimed credit for them. Leavitt and her female peers were dedicated to social and scientific progress. Performances are at the University Theatre, UW-Green Bay. For tickets.
