Photos: Sound artist connects with music students

“Eco-acoustic” composer Matthew Burtner continued his visit to UW-Green Bay this week, with class lectures, an interview with Wisconsin Public Radio and rehearsals for Friday’s (March 26) Multi-Media Performance at 7:30 p.m. in the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts with students and faculty. Burtner, who is visiting the University as part of the Campus Common Theme, ”Realizing Our Sustainable Future,” was interviewed by WPR’s “Here on Earth: Radio Without Borders” host Jean Feraca. Here’s a link to that show.

Here’s more about Burtner’s visit, click here.

Also, we stopped by Studio Arts to take photos of the New Music Ensemble’s rehearsal with Burtner. (Click thumbnails to enter slideshow view.)
