The 2020 Wisconsin Destination Imagination Affiliate Tournament is fast approaching. On Saturday, April 18, 2020, UW-Green Bay will host the Wisconsin DI Affiliate Tournament, of which up to 7,000 people from around the state will visit campus in one day to compete for a chance to make it to the global finals in Kansas City. Once again, the event needs volunteers (parking attendants to help direct traffic outside during the morning of the event. Each volunteer will be given a location outdoors in one of the parking lots or outside a building. There, you will help parents and participants with questions and direct them to where they need to go. We will provide you with maps and locations of the activities for the day. In addition, you will receive a t-shirt and one meal voucher worth $8 at all campus dining locations. We recommend bringing a lawn chair to sit in during your shift. Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. If interested in helping out, please register as a volunteer here. If you have any questions or if your department is interested in helping out in any way, please contact Jason Mathwig, Director of Education Outreach Continuing Education & Community Engagement, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 920-465-2267.
