Katers on Brown County Economic Development Task Force

UW-Green Bay Prof. John Katers will be part of a team taking the long view on economic development in Northeastern Wisconsin, Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach announced Wednesday (March 7). The newly formed Brown County Economic Development Task Force will unite business leaders, technical experts and government representatives on four committees to retain and grow jobs in the county, the Press-Gazette reported. Several of the committees have UW-Green Bay connections, and Katers will serve on two — the waste/recycling committee and the water quality/phosphorous committee. Katers, Natural and Applied Sciences, is co-director of UW-Green Bay’s Environmental Management and Business Institute. Full story.
