Traffic steady at job/internship fair
Despite growing concerns about America’s job market, the 2009 Spring Job and Internship Fair at UW-Green Bay enjoyed a solid turnout Wednesday (March 4).
The fair, which featured more than 60 employers, generated a good, steady flow of student traffic through the University Union’s Phoenix Room, said Linda Peacock-Landrum, director of Career Services.
“It’s been a very positive day, with a great turnout,” Peacock-Landrum said, adding that many employers are still actively recruiting even with the iffy economy.
Students who missed Wednesday’s fair but still want to know what opportunities might be available can log into PRO and submit a resume under the Spring Job and Internship Fair listing in the Career Events calendar.
