20th annual Academic Excellence Symposium is approaching

The 20th Annual UW-Green Bay Academic Excellence Symposium, sponsored by Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Chapter 279, the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare, and the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business, will once again be held in conjunction with the CAHSS Virtual Conference. Projects will be on display May 3 – 14, 2021.

The symposium, which showcases the academic excellence of our undergraduate and graduate students, invites students to present their best projects.  We will again showcase our internships, so we encourage you to nominate your student/s who has/have completed an exceptional internship in the community.  Internship displays should explain the following:

1) A description of the internship site.

2) Requirements of the student to complete the internship.

3) The academic component and learning outcomes.

4) What did the student achieve by completing this internship?

All students nominated to present work at the symposium, must complete the Qualtrics proposal form at Academic Excellence Symposium 2021

The deadline to submit a proposal is April 6, 2021 at midnight.  All proposals will be reviewed and final selections will be made by end-of-day April 9, 2021.  Students and faculty sponsor/s will be notified of acceptance, and provided additional preparation and setup guidelines for their research/creative work project via email at that time. A student can be a Lead Presenter for only one project. Students from all UW-Green Bay locations are encouraged to participate.  Direct questions to Teri Ternes at ternest@uwgb.edu.
