Former Phoenix basketball star Julie Wojta has been added to the San Antonio Silver Stars training camp roster, the WNBA franchise announced earlier this week. She played briefly as a rookie last season with the Minnesota Lynx, the team that drafted her at No. 18 overall. She then headed to Europe to play for Belgium’s Belfius Namur, averaging 16.0 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest for the league leaders. Wojta studied Business Administration and Accounting at UW-Green Bay and earned AP second-team All-America honors, along with numerous academic honors. Read more.
